CABBIES

in two days, i've had two encounters with nosey cab drivers. the first one was yesterday, on my way to synchro. in the five minute ride, he asked me what school i was in, how i was doing in school, etc etc. he thought i was in rgs! haha. i don't think i look that smart(: and he thinks i got a b4 for chinese! i think that was judging by how i was speaking to him, cos he wanted to speak chinese, so now i know my chinese is b4 standard(: HAHA. so when he asked about chinese and said b4, i just nodded, knowing that if i told him i'd gotten a c6 he'd tell me to study harder and read more books. AH. haha.

the second was cabbing to nicole's house. he kept asking me which way to go, and obviously i didn't know, cos my mom's always been the one who sends me. so i called nicole and asked her. maybe it had something to do with me calling nicole "nic" on the phone that made the cabbie think i was going to meet my boyfriend or something, cos the conversation went something like this:

you're going to meet your boyfriend ah?

no lah, going to my friends house to do a project.

[ignores me] going to meet your boyfriend righhhhhttt?

nonono, going to my friend's house to do a project!

aiyoh, next time must come in by the other way, not scared your boyfriend will see this handsome man in the car ah?

erm, okay, thanks, BYE! [pays and dashes out of the cab]

somehow, i doubt if i were going to see my boyfriend i'd go to oxley road. it's a suckish place to meet someone (no offence nic) even if it is near orchard road.

synchro again today, i might change my routine a bit, add in a split? haha. i think they'll fail me for my pretzel. FAIL.
